Plumbing and heating: Harborline Plumbing & Heating

A plumbing site that puts the emergency line first and still gives planned jobs room to be read.

Harborline Plumbing & Heating in Port Aldwych is an example business we invented for this demo. The site itself is real and running.

Plumbing calls split into two kinds. Some are a water heater getting old or a bathroom you want redone, and the customer has time to compare. Others are water on the basement floor right now, and the customer wants a number they can dial without hunting for it. Your site has to serve both without making either one wait.

Harborline Plumbing & Heating is a made-up company we use to show how that works. The emergency line stays visible at the top of every page, the request form lets people mark a job as urgent, and the chat assistant points anyone describing a burst pipe or no heat straight to the phone. Planned work like drain cleaning, sump pumps and tankless conversions gets its own pages, so those customers can read up before they ask for a price.

What this site does

24/7 emergency bar on the plumbing and heating demo

Start, from $50/mo

24/7 emergency bar

A strip across the top of the site says you are available around the clock for emergencies and shows the number to call. It appears on every page, so someone with a leak never has to look for it. You can point it at an after-hours line that is different from your office number.

Call button in the header on the plumbing and heating demo

Call button in the header

A phone icon sits in the header next to the Request Service button. On a mobile phone one tap starts the call, which is how many people in the middle of a plumbing problem will want to reach you. It dials your main office number, while the emergency bar and hero buttons can use a separate line.

Services grid on the plumbing and heating demo

Start, from $50/mo

Services grid

The homepage lays out your services as cards, from drain cleaning and water heaters to sump pumps, bathroom rough-ins and basic furnace and AC work. Each card links to a full page about that job. A visitor can confirm in seconds that you handle heating as well as plumbing, which saves a call that goes nowhere.

Request form built for plumbing calls on the plumbing and heating demo

Start, from $50/mo

Request form built for plumbing calls

The request page warns visitors with a burst pipe, flooding, no heat or a gas smell to call now, then offers a form for everything else. It collects the service, address, time windows and a description, with room for photos of the leak or the old tank. An "I need help ASAP" option marks the urgent ones.

Guides customers can use before you arrive on the plumbing and heating demo

Start, from $50/mo

Guides customers can use before you arrive

The blog carries articles on topics such as the first five minutes after a pipe bursts, choosing between tank and tankless, and what slow drains are warning about. A homeowner who has read how to find the main shutoff is calmer when you answer, and the posts give search engines more pages that match real questions.

End-of-page call to action on the plumbing and heating demo

Start, from $50/mo

End-of-page call to action

The bottom of the homepage asks one question, whether the visitor needs a plumber today, and repeats both options: send a request or call the emergency line. Anyone who scrolled through the whole page without acting gets a clear last step instead of running into the footer.

Chat that recognises an emergency on the plumbing and heating demo

Core, from $150/mo

Chat that recognises an emergency

The chat window, labelled "Need help? Let's chat," talks with visitors on any page and gathers what you need to follow up. When someone types about active flooding or a gas smell, it flags the message as a possible emergency and shows your phone number. Routine questions become requests sitting in your inbox.

Lead inbox, quotes and invoices on the plumbing and heating demo

Core, from $150/mo

Lead inbox, quotes and invoices

Requests from the form and the chat collect in a lead inbox in your back office, each with the details the customer gave. You turn a lead into a quote, then an invoice, and the customer record keeps the history together. Customers can review and sign quotes online, and once a job is done you can send a review or referral request.

Fast on a phone, video and all

The demo's homepage scored 94 for mobile performance in Google's Lighthouse test, measured October 14, 2026. Scores move a few points from run to run, so check it yourself: run PageSpeed Insights on the live demo.

Want this with your name on it?

Your version of this site would show your company name, your licence, your towns and the numbers you actually answer, including a separate after-hours line if you keep one. We adjust the service list to your work, so a shop that does more heating than plumbing reads that way. Spend a few minutes on the demo, send a test request, and try telling the chat that your basement is flooding. If you want to see it built around your business, book a short call and we will walk through it with you.
